Gossiper provides MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector services that enable AI agents and applications to interact with third-party services such as Shopify. Our Service acts as an intermediary layer that translates AI requests into actions on connected platforms.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Testing and Sandbox Environments

Important: Before using our Service in a production environment, you must:

  • Test all integrations in a sandbox or test environment first
  • Verify that all operations perform as expected
  • Ensure your connected services are properly configured

We strongly recommend using test/development instances of connected services (such as Shopify development stores) before connecting production environments.

3.3 Data Backups

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data on connected services. Before using our Service, ensure you have:

  • Current backups of all critical data
  • A disaster recovery plan in place
  • The ability to restore data if needed

3.4 Request Review

Our Service allows you to review any AI-generated request before it is sent to our servers and executed on connected services. You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing requests before approval when using review mode
  • Understanding the potential impact of approved actions
  • Ensuring requests align with your intended operations

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse API access

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5.2 Data Damage Disclaimer

Important: We are not liable for any damage to data on your connected services, including but not limited to:

  • Unintended modifications to data or records
  • Financial losses resulting from erroneous transactions
  • Business interruption due to data issues

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated requests may produce unexpected results
  • Actions taken on connected services may be irreversible
  • You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all operations
  • You should always maintain current backups before using our Service

5.3 Atomic Operations

To minimize risk, our Service only performs atomic (single-record) operations on connected services. We do not support bulk updates, batch modifications, or updates by filter. Each operation affects only one record at a time, ensuring greater control and reducing the potential impact of any unintended action. Users can still perform multiple updates by including multiple prompts in a single request, each targeting an individual record.

5.4 Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Gossiper, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or data

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gossiper and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any damage caused to connected services through your use of our Service

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party platforms. You acknowledge that:

  • You must comply with the terms of service of all connected platforms
  • We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services
  • Third-party services may have their own data handling practices

We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party services, content, or practices.

8. Subscription and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription plan.

8.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

8.3 Refunds

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Gossiper and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Swiss arbitration rules, unless you are entitled to make a claim in a small claims court.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
